Founding Partner and CEO of Una Terra, a $300M VC Fund focused on Climate Change Mitigation and Biodiversity Restoration in Europe, Luca is also Operating Advisor for ESG at Advent International, one of the leading PE funds with over $100B under management globally.

Luca accepts selected Non-Executive Director (NED) positions to further influence the UN Sustainable Development agenda both through Organic and Inorganic Growth, Marketing and Innovation across multiple industries. He is considered a Though Leader and often invited as public speaker in all these areas (LSE, EMF, UN, CGF, WEF, CEFLEX, SCR, etc).

Luca has been an accomplished C-Suite Executive, working up to CEO and Managing Director at Fedrigoni Paper (a Bain Capital portfolio company) and Vice-President and General Manager at Amcor (a NYSE listed and S&P500 corporation) with ca. $1B P&L accountability.

Throughout his career, both at large high-technology B2B corporations like Hewlett Packard, Honeywell and Amcor, and at smaller high-growth PE-backed companies like Florida Tile and Fedrigoni, he challenged the status quo to add value at C-level and Board level, helping to shape strategic roadmaps and drive global growth and competitive advantage.
Recognized for inspirational leadership, I have a real passion for people and for developing talent, designing optimum organizational structures and advising people on their current and long term career.

Luca holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Politecnico di Milano, an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and an Executive Leadership Development certificate from Duke. He is also a Fellow of The Marketing Academy and of the Institute for Real Growth, both focused on humanized growth and purpose-driven leadership, specifically around Sustainability and Social Responsibility.

He has been a consultant at Bain & Company, both in Milan and New York, and has trained with the Financial Times NED program and with the North America Corporate Directors (NACD) association as Independent Board Member.

He currently lives in Zurich with his wife and two young boys.
